Sunny Narayanan is a Research Faculty at Florida State University and has an interdisciplinary background in biology and engineering, focusing on the area of bioastronautics, or studying how life and astronauts adapt in the spaceflight environment. He completed his doctorate at Texas A&M University and his undergraduate degrees in mechanical engineering and biology at West Virginia University. He is also a first-generation academic and former Title I, Pell Grant scholar, and is passionate about supporting the next generation of students and young professionals interested in aerospace careers.
