Mark Thornblom has over 15 years of experience in the federal government working at NASA’s Langley Research Center. He joined the Game Changing Development (GCD) program office in 2019 as a program element manager, managing a portfolio of successful technology development projects across the agency. In his current capacity, Mark serves as the GCD Deputy Program Manager for Technical Integration. In this role, he oversees the overall technical progress and advancement of the program portfolio and ensures technical alignment of the program with NASA’s goals and objectives. He has spent the majority of his career in the development, integration, and testing of space flight systems. His areas of expertise include passive thermal control engineering, thermal test engineering, contamination control engineering, and flight systems assembly, integration, and testing. Mark enjoys camping, hiking, and climbing and is also an avid runner and cyclist.
