Benjamin (Ben) Chaback, M.S., is a PhD student in Engineering Education at Virginia Tech. He currently does research on technology enhanced learning on Open Educational Resources and Artificial Intelligence. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He has done work before in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Aerospace Structures, and Human Life Support Systems. His work largely involves simulations, computing, and integrating artificial intelligence into engineering work including discipline engineering and within engineering education. He also holds roles with the American Society of Engineering Education, the SafeZone Project, and the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research.
