Associate Professor, Stony Brook University

Ji Liu received his PhD degree from Yale University. He is currently an Associate Professor at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook and has extensive experience in distributed and decentralized multi-agent systems. His research team has been supported by the NSF and DoD agencies, including AFOSR, AFRL, and ARL. His team has successfully completed projects on human-agent intelligent teaming for ARL and resilient multi-agent AI systems for AFRL. His (coauthored) work has received the 2023 IEEE Control Systems Society Roberto Tempo Best CDC Paper Award and a Distinguished Paper Award at 2024 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems.
