Dr. Sharma is a Lead Research Consultant at Jensen Hughes, US, and a dedicated multidisciplinary researcher specializing in fire dynamics. With extensive experience in managing research projects and laboratory operations, he excels in leading teams, mentoring technical staff, and designing and conducting both laboratory and field-scale experiments. He is author various peer reviewed publications.

Recognized as one of the Global 5 Under 35 by the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) in 2023, Dr. Sharma was also awarded the SFPE Foundation GCI Research Fellowship for Fire and Climate Change in 2022. His professional background includes postdoc research roles at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Johns Hopkins University, as well as contributions to a NASA-sponsored project at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). He has also worked as a fire engineer at Arup in India and the UK.
