Anmol Sikka is a planetary scientist with a strong engineering background. Inspired by space technology, he pursued optimization techniques for spacecraft at IIT Bombay, where he also led the Student Satellite Program, gaining expertise in mission design and systems engineering. Currently, his doctoral research focuses on simulating mass-wasting events on metallic bodies like 16-Psyche, investigating the role of magnetic forces. Driven by a passion for science communication and space exploration, Anmol envisions studying planetary bodies through modeling and simulation, as well as small satellite missions. He enjoys video games and science fiction in his free time and aims to revive his space blog.
