Alexander C. Utter received a B.S. degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College in 2005 and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 2007. Since 2007, he has worked in The Aerospace Corporation's Digital Communication Implementation Department. He has led the development of FPGA avionics subsystems used on more than a dozen cubesat missions, including the SatCat5 open-source Ethernet switch, the AeroCube camera, and modems for free-space optical communication.
