Chris Birkinbine is a project manager at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center, where he leads efforts to advance aeronautics research and manage complex technical projects. With a strong background in applied physics and space engineering, Chris brings both technical expertise and leadership to his role. Over the course of more than 10 years at NASA, he has gained extensive experience in range operations, flight testing, and research.

Passionate about research and innovation, Chris contributes to NASA's mission by serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative, Technical Manager, and reviewer for SBIRs and other opportunities supported by the Space Technology, Science, and Aeronautics Research Mission Directorates. Through these roles, he helps foster cutting-edge technological development and collaboration between NASA, industry, and academia.
