Aamod Samuel is a member of the Flight Opportunities team within STMD working mainly with the TechRise program. He holds a bachelors degree in Aerospace engineering from Purdue University. His past work includes being the hardware lead for the simulation group at Armstrong Flight Research Center where he was able to lead the buildup of the X59 low boom flight demonstrator training simulator among various other hardware centric projects. He also headed up efforts in systems and user interface design for the airborne schlieren imaging system and Airvolt test stand, and design of a command system and user interface for the X-57 project. He enjoys the intersection of engineering and creativity which is often required in problem solving, and enjoys developing his creative side through pursuing a myriad of hobbies.
