Martin is an experimental physicist and data scientist focused on radiation detection. He handles hardware, software, data taking and data analysis including new data analysis software development. Martin's track record of achievements includes work in world-leading laboratories and government funded institutions (LANL, NASA, ESA, CERN, GSI). He is the deputy group leader for Space Science & Applications group at Intelligence and Space Research Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. At NASA, Martin was Principal Investigator of the R&D project for future Deep Space Gateway missions and Project Manager of the personal dosimeter project for the next generation space suit for Exploration Missions. In addition, he was the active personal dosimeter project for the Exploration Missions and ISS. In the industry, Martin developed new systems for TSA and CBP as well as lead certification and support for current ones, delivering quick and accurate solutions for customers.
